DOSTI offers a wide range of opportunities and services. These include academic classes with a small student-teacher ratio, customized programs for every child, individualized learning, and one-on-one teaching and support along with group teaching. These programs, along with all curricular and co-curricular activities, tailor learning to each child’s combination of needs.

- Parental counseling by specially-trained staff and teachers registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
- Program-planning for Children with Special Needs (CWSN)/Parents
- Psychological and Educational Assessments based on research-established guidelines
- IQ Assessments to identify the core intellectual/cognitive potential of each child
- Early Intervention Unit for one-on-one therapy sessions to provide better adaptability skills in a classroom setup
- Vocational Training in various handicrafts (such as soap making) and cooking-related activities
Adaptations are made to allow the children to meet the needs of age-appropriate programs. Individualized education programs (IEP) are made to spell out each child’s learning needs and requirements from among the services that DOSTI provides. They also depict how progress is measured in every sphere of growth and development. We also provide a self-contained environment where all students receive support from their peer group.
DOSTI also provides online classes and home-based programs to help parents and children remotely. These are designed to provide guided learning and encourage self-study with fun, educational content so that students can learn at their own pace with minimal supervision.
